Words echoed in the space through different mouths, as all had their own experiences yet shared the same feelings. “Overwhelmed”, “connected”, “being held”, “hopeful” and most importantly wanting to grief. To grieve the past, the present and maybe even the future.
All those souls that were barely hanging outside of Satyam walls allowed themselves to fall apart and be held, to be vulnerable and to trust in the hands surrounding them.
They spent their hours connecting to each other with words, with hugs, with tears, with love.
They learned how to express themselves yet be the person who can take everything in, who hears you when you speak no words.
When it was time to grieve, they cried, standing, dancing, hugging, leaning to the other and bending on their knees to the ground, to be grounded, to be held by God, by nature, by all those around us.
They moved in the rhythm of symphonies where the insanity of the act was definitely the most insane to do. Beethoven wouldn’t have done it better.
They didn’t share a religion, an identity, or an experience but they shared the most important of all, a dream. A dream of when the land is free and no cuffs are allowed, no sounds of guns or bombs but birds and laughter. No violence or fear of the known because all what is known is peace.
