#Mondays4Gaza is a weekly global solidarity action extending the spirit of the hunger strike into a sustained community-powered movement

Launch & Format

  • Start Date: Monday, September 8, 2025

  • Frequency: Every Monday, starting at 00:00 and continuing through 23:59, Jerusalem time

  • Global Community Call: Every Monday, 20:00–21:30 Jerusalem time via Zoom

Why Mondays?

  • To embody solidarity with Gazaβ€”where hunger is not a choiceβ€”participants fast in grief, protest, and fierce hope

  • The act transforms personal deprivation into a political and spiritual statement:

  • β€œOur bodies become our message. Our hunger becomes a refusal… We weave a practice of solidarity that grows louder each week.

Demands Remain the Same

Participants uphold the same core demands as the main campaign:

  • End to the siege and genocide

  • Immediate and permanent ceasefire

  • Full humanitarian access to Gaza

  • Release of all hostages and political prisoners

How to Participate

Participants can choose from different fasting levels, according to health and capacity:

1. Level 1: Water only

2. Level 2: Water, tea, coffee, or vegetable broth

3. Level 3: Up to 100 kcal (e.g., juice)

4. Level 4: One meal a day (OMAD) οΏΌ
