Satyam Homeland expresses its profound alarm at the escalating violence against Palestinian civilians in the occupied West Bank.

Across the West Bank, Palestinian families continue to face repeated attacks, destruction of homes and farmland, displacement, and intimidation. Numerous reports by international organizations, United Nations bodies, and leading human rights organizations have documented a pattern in which armed Israeli settlers have carried out attacks against Palestinian communities, while Israeli security forces have in many cases been accused of failing to prevent these attacks or of providing protection to settlers during them.

We write as a joint Palestinian, Israeli, and international community committed to nonviolent resistance, in response to the Israeli Knesset’s approval of a law enabling the execution of Palestinian prisoners.

Our opposition is grounded not only in moral conviction, but in international law and widely recognized human rights standards. The use of the death penalty, particularly in contexts of prolonged occupation and systemic inequality, raises grave legal and ethical concerns.
