The World Must Not Continue To Look Away

Satyam Homeland expresses its profound alarm at the escalating violence against Palestinian civilians in the Occupied West Bank.

Across the West Bank, Palestinian families continue to face repeated attacks, destruction of homes and farmland, displacement, and intimidation. Numerous reports by international organizations, United Nations bodies, and leading human rights organizations have documented a pattern in which armed Israeli settlers have carried out attacks against Palestinian communities, while Israeli security forces have in many cases been accused of failing to prevent these attacks or of providing protection to settlers during them.

International humanitarian law and human rights law apply to every person, without exception. Accountability cannot be selective. Justice cannot depend on nationality, ethnicity, or religion.

Every human life carries equal dignity. No child should grow up under fear. No family should be forced from its land. No community should be abandoned because the world has become accustomed to its suffering.

We reject all violence against civilians. We reject hatred, racism, collective punishment, forced displacement, and the normalization of occupation and impunity. Silence in the face of injustice is not neutrality, it allows injustice to deepen.

Our spiritual traditions teach that every human being is created with inherent dignity. To violate that dignity is not only a political failure but a moral one. Peace cannot be built upon violence and fear. Security cannot be achieved through dispossession. Justice delayed is justice denied.

We call upon the international community, governments, the United Nations, faith leaders, civil society, and defenders of human rights to:

  • Ensure immediate protection for Palestinian civilians in the occupied West Bank.

  • Demand independent, impartial investigations into all attacks against civilians and ensure accountability under international law.

  • Uphold international legal obligations concerning the occupied Palestinian territory.

  • Support every effort that advances justice, equal human rights, and a future in which Palestinians and Israelis can live in freedom, dignity, and genuine security.

History will ask not only who committed injustice, but who remained silent while it unfolded.

We refuse to be silent.
Justice is not revenge.
Truth is not hatred.
Human dignity is not negotiable.
