Christmas Dinner & Gathering

Dear beloved community,

In times of rupture, we choose gathering.

In times of destruction, we choose birth.

In times of fear, we choose one another.

We warmly invite you to a Christmas Dinner and Community Gathering at SatyamHomeland in Beit Jala, on January 3rd, followed by an optional shared breakfast and simple morning tour in Bethlehem on January 4th.

This gathering brings together Palestinians, Israelis, and international friends, rooted in nonviolence, shared humanity, and collective careβ€”the living heart of SatyamHomeland.

Christmas, for us, is not only a holiday.

It is a remembering of birth under oppression, of life insisting on itself, of hope emerging from vulnerability.

It reminds us why we struggleβ€”not for domination, but for life, dignity, and a future worth living together.

At SatyamHomeland, we believe that one of the most powerful acts in violent times is to sit together, break bread together, grieve together, and imagine new ways of being.

This evening is an act of nonviolent resistanceβ€”through presence, love, and courage.

A quiet declaration that another world is already being born.

What we will share on January 3:

- A communal Christmas dinner

- Space for reflection, music, and storytelling

- A lived experience of joint, nonviolent togetherness

- The radical act of choosing connection over despair

The next morning – January 4 (optional):

For those who wish to stay, we will gather again for:

- A shared breakfast

- A simple, meaningful morning tour in Bethlehem, walking the land where stories of birth, resilience, and faith continue to unfold

Contribution:

- 150 β€” Christmas dinner & evening gathering (January 3)

- 250 β€” Includes dinner, overnight stay, breakfast and Bethlehem tour (January 3–4)

(Contributions support SatyamHomeland as a joint Palestinian–Israeli community space for nonviolent practice, healing, and shared future-building.)

This gathering is for those who refuse to give up on humanity.

For those who know that peace is not passiveβ€”it is practiced.

For those who believe the birth of a new world begins with shared meals, honest presence, and brave hearts.

Come as you are.

Bring your grief, your hope, your faith, and your questions.

Bring your children, your elders, and your longing for something truer.

Dates: January 3–4

Place: SatyamHomeland, Beit Jala

Spirit: Joint β€’ Nonviolent β€’ Human β€’ Alive

Let us remember why we fight.
