Conversations with Satyam: Restorative Justice (Online)

Restorative Justice

What does justice look like when the world is witnessing relentless violence?

When every conversation feels polarized, what does it mean to refuse dehumanization? What does accountability look like beyond punishment? And what kind of future are we building if we cannot imagine repair?

This month, join us for a powerful live conversation with Tarek Maassarani, peace and justice practitioner, educator, and internationally recognized trainer in Restorative Justice and Nonviolent Communication.

Born into a Jewish–Muslim family with roots in Haifa, Tripoli, and Washington, D.C., Tarek brings both a deeply personal connection to this region and decades of experience supporting communities through conflict, division, and transformation.

In times like these, restorative justice is often dismissed as unrealistic. We believe the opposite: it is precisely in moments of profound harm that we must ask the hardest questions about justice, accountability, dignity, and the possibility of repair.

This is not a conversation about easy answers. It is an invitation to think more deeply, challenge assumptions, and imagine what justice could mean in a world shaped by violence.

If these questions matter to you, join the conversation.
