Dear beloved community,
With tender hearts, we have decided to postpone our local community celebration gathering in Satyam this weekend, Friday-Saturday 6-7th of March, due to the current situation of war.
This was not an easy decision. We have been longing to celebrate two years of walking together β two years of courage, grief, resistance, healing, and love woven into community. And yet, these are not ordinary times. The ground itself feels heavy. So we choose to listen.
Instead of celebration, we choose presence.
Yet, this coming Monday, 9th of March we will still gather on Zoom as a global communityβ not to celebrate loudly, but to honor deeply. To mark these two years. To witness what we have built together. To remember why we began. To sit together as a community that refuses isolation.
And beyond the screen β Satyam Homeland in Beit Jala remains open.
Our doors are open for anyone who needs shelter, quiet, tea, shared breath, or simply not to be alone. If you need a home space, a community embrace, a place to land in these hard days β come. You do not need to carry everything by yourself.
We may postpone a celebration, but we do not postpone each other.
We remain. Together. In dignity. In care. In shared humanity.
